NPR posted an article about how many people who hold master’s degrees, doctorates, and other higher-level certificates are applying for food stamps due to their instability of employment. It said that 22 million people received food benefits in 2010, and of those 22 million people, 360,000 of them held a master’s degree or higher.
Here we are as college students, some of us being graduated and moving on to further education, hearing that people who already hold doctorate degrees are having difficulties landing jobs, primarily stable ones.
